Vellum Simulation with Houdini

Type: Personal Project
My Role:
Start to End of 3D Production (include motion capture, Fur FX)
Software: Houdini , Cinema4D
Render: Octane

This project started in Houdini, where I ran the vellum simulation. I exported the results as an Alembic cache and brought them into Cinema 4D for lighting and rendering. Everything was handled in the ACES color space, which really helped preserve the look across applications. Finally, I composited the renders in Nuke—the colors came out amazing!

The End

The presentation of this project has come to a close. I sincerely hope that you found it enjoyable. Thank you very much.
