HSBC HK - DuoVerse Music Show Character

HSBC has launched a “DuoVerse” music show, a live music show synchronized between real-world and the metaverse, done in collaboration with two local singers Tyson Yoshi and Serrini. Echo Picture works with xxx to create 2 of their iconic virtual character that appears in both DuoVerse and the print ad KV on their billboards all over Hong Kong.
3D Modelling & UV
The production time for creating the 3D models is very short. To design the robot girl 3D model, I enlisted the assistance of another 3D artist. The two characters were modeled and completed within just two days, during which I provided guidance and corrected any errors made by the junior artist.
As for the Male Character, the down jacket was fashioned using marvelous designer, with additional details added to the jacket accessories through substance painter.

Cloth Details with MD
The most difficult aspect of this project is creating a 3D model of the character's down jacket, which contains many intricate folds and has a considerable volume. To achieve a high level of realism, I decided to use Marvellous Designer for this task, which offers built-in cloth simulation capabilities that allow me to add intricate details to the jacket.
Cinema 4D
The lighting and rendering process was carried out using Cinema 4D and Redshift, respectively. The client expressed satisfaction with the final outcome.
