Robot Costume for HKSTP
(3D Printed )
The Background
For an HKSTP exhibition, we needed to create a full 3D-printed costume for a smart robot assistant. I led the visual and technical development of the exterior shell, starting with concept design and progressing into detailed 3D modeling.
I built all production-ready print files, optimizing part thickness, connection points, and overall structure for accurate fabrication. I also planned the mechanical layout of each component—figuring out how the pieces would assemble, move, and integrate with the robot’s internal hardware. The final result was a fully 3D-printed, functional, and visually cohesive robot costume ready for public display.
